Preta — Terms of Service
Last updated: 14 September 2026
By creating an account or using Preta you agree to these terms.
Who can use Preta
You need to be at least 13, or have a parent or guardian set up and supervise your account. One person, one account — organisations may hold separate accounts for a gym, business, tournament or non-profit.
You are responsible for what happens under your account, including keeping your password to yourself.
Your content
You own what you post. Photos, posts, comments, listings, messages — they remain yours.
You give us permission to store and display that content inside Preta so the app can work: your post has to be shown to people who follow you, your listing has to appear in the shop. That permission ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies already sent to other people (a message someone received stays in their conversation).
You promise that you have the right to post what you post, and that it is not someone else's copyrighted work, not illegal, and not someone's private information shared without consent.
What is not allowed
- Harassment, threats, hate speech, or targeting anyone
- Sexual content, graphic violence, or content involving minors inappropriately
- Impersonating another person, gym, or organisation
- Spam, scams, or misrepresenting what you are selling
- Anything illegal, or encouraging others to do something illegal
- Attempting to break, overload, or gain unauthorised access to the service
Preta has zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. Content that breaks these rules is removed and the account is suspended or deleted. Every post, comment, video, listing and profile can be reported, and any user can be blocked from their profile. Reports are reviewed within 24 hours.
The shop
Preta lets people list jiu-jitsu gear. Preta is not a party to any sale.
- We do not process payments and take no cut. Money and shipping are arranged directly between buyer and seller.
- We do not verify items, sellers, condition, or that anything ships.
- Disputes are between buyer and seller. We cannot refund, mediate or guarantee anything, because no money passes through us.
Sellers must describe items accurately and comply with the law where they are. Meet in public where you can, and use judgement.
Advertising
Organisations can promote posts inside Preta. Sponsored posts are labelled Sponsored.
- Campaigns are paid. You choose a daily budget and a number of days, and the total is that budget multiplied by those days. Payment is taken up front through Stripe, on the Preta website — never inside the iOS app.
- What a budget buys. Delivery is priced per thousand impressions. A campaign is paced across its days and stops once the paid amount has been delivered, or when its days run out, whichever comes first.
- Refunds. If a campaign delivers less than you paid for, contact us at info@worldjiujitsutour.com and we will refund the undelivered portion.
- We do not guarantee reach, impressions, clicks or results. Reporting is provided as-is.
- Advertisers must follow the same content rules as everyone else, must not advertise anything illegal, and must be honest about what they are offering. We can pause or remove a campaign that breaks these terms.
Nearby gyms
The app can show real gyms near you using Google's data. Those gyms are not affiliated with Preta, have not agreed to anything, and are not endorsed by us. Details may be wrong or out of date — check before you travel.
Belt ranks
Belt ranks entered in Preta are self-reported and unverified. A rank shown on a profile is a claim by that person, not a certification by us or by any academy. Do not rely on it for anything that matters.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account at any time from Settings. It is permanent and immediate: your profile, posts, photos, messages, belt history and training log are removed and cannot be recovered.
We may suspend or remove an account that breaks these terms.
No warranty
Preta is provided as-is. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of Preta — including anything that happens in a sale arranged through the shop, or an injury at a gym you found through the app.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
Changes
If these terms change materially, the app will tell you before the change takes effect. Continuing to use Preta after that means you accept the new terms.
